Babylon’s Fall is also still a thing as far we know too. World of Demons is an Apple Arcade exclusive title from one of the worlds finest developers of action games: PlatinumGames. PlatinumGames, known for Bayonetta, has released its very first mobile title, World of Demons, which is out now exclusively on Apple devices as part of the Apple Arcade subscription service, but it can be bought separately. Because it’s a Platinum joint, the game’s action is fast, fluid, and over-the-top, and you can play using a controller or with virtual inputs on the touchscreen. Platinum Games has announced its newest project and it’s something a little different called World of Demons. Along the way players will recruit additional yokai and samurai to their cause, each bringing new abilities. Players control a samurai who leads an army of yokai, demons in Japanese folklore, on a mission to take down the evil lord of oni, Shuten Doji. The game’s aesthetic harkens titles like Okami in that it rocks a gorgeous, watercolor art inspired by ukiyo-e woodblock prints. Platinum Games is certainly staying busy. NBA 2K21 Arcade Edition, The Oregon Trail, and Star Trek: Legends were all added as Arcade Originals, and a new 'timeless classics' category contains tried-and-true games like Backgammon and Chess. Platinum Games announced the mobile action game back in 2018, and guess what? It’s suddenly available now exclusively on Apple Arcade.ĭo you like stylish action games with pretty art directions? You’d be forgiven if you forgot all about World of Demons. World of Demons will be a free-to-play title where people will step into the shoes of a samurai named Onimaru, shrine maiden named Sayo or third as yet unnamed character as they attempt to fight.
